About sakto
sakto is financial due diligence software for M&A advisers and deal teams in Austria and Germany. It reads the tax adviser's exports from DATEV, BMD or RZL, or trial balances as Excel or CSV, and turns them into statements, NWC, net debt and adjusted EBITDA, in an Excel databook with every account balance traced to file, sheet and row.
What is different from a databook built by hand
The databook holds live formulas, not pasted values. The final databook exports only once every balance sits on a statement line, every check passes and every EBITDA adjustment has a reason. Figures come from deterministic code. An AI assistant reads them only if you connect one.
Who builds sakto
Built by a former Big Four and M&A adviser and a banking-software engineer.
- Sheila Kastner, Co-founder, M&A and sales. Financial due diligence at a Big Four firm on €10M–€500M deals. Then sell-side M&A for software companies. LinkedIn
- Oscar Andersson, Co-founder, product and engineering. Five years building banking systems for savings and payments, latterly leading the savings product team.
